A pplicants seeking to apply under the  four key worker streams will be required to submit a Worker EOI to enter the pool for  consideration. The introduction of the EOI system replaces the previous method,  where candidates could apply directly. Candidates will self-declare information about themselves through online Worker EOI form in AAIP portal. A new statistics released by IRCC reveals, India leads the chart of New Canadian Citizens followed by Philippines and China in 2024.  The 2024 numbers show a substantial rising trend as t he country prepares to surpass the 2023 totals.  By July 2024, the total number of new Canadian citizens had reached 243,339. By the end of 2022, there were 375,668 new citizens, compared to 379,925 in 2023.  This represents 23% of all new Indian citizens in 2024, compared to 20% in 2023 and 15.8% in 2022. The data show a steady influx of new Canadian citizens from India, owing to Canada's pro-immigrant policies and high demand for qualified workers from the subcontinent.
